Sumitomo Rubber's tire production and marketing subsidiaries in China, Sumitomo Rubber (Changshu) Co., Ltd. and Sumitomo Rubber (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. recently published "Environmental Report 2006."
The two Chinese companies have been promoting environment protection activities since they started the operation of their factories in April, 2004 and published "Environmental Report" in their second year. The report consists of three parts of Environment Management, Environment Protection and Environment Information.
They obtained the ISO14001 certificate and accomplished zero emissions in October 2005.
