The Sumitomo Rubber Group is pleased to announce that our European subsidiary, Falken Tyre Europe GmbH, will participate in the "Nurburgring 24-Hour Race" (officially known as the "43rd ADAC Zurich 24-Hour Race") to promote the FALKEN brand. FALKEN is also supporting the Nurburgring 24-Hour Race as an official partner sequentially last year, and will prepare exhibition and entertainments. Held at the Nurburgring in Germany from May 14th (Thu.) to 17th (Sun.), the Nurburgring 24-Hour Race is one of the world's largest touring car races.

[Nurburgring 24-Hour Race]
This 24-hour endurance race, taking place at the Nurburgring, which is also famous as a development test track for automobile and tire makers, is considered by many to be the world's toughest race. At 25km per lap, the Nurburgring's full course combines the North Course (Old Course), which features an elevation difference of 300m between its highest and lowest points and about 170 corners (including blind corners), and the more modern Grand Prix Course, which is also used for F1 racing.
