Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. (SRI) is pleased to announce that we will be supporting "Red Bull Air Race Chiba 2016" as an official partner through our FALKEN brand for the second consecutive year.
Through our FALKEN brand, SRI is proud to once again be supporting "Red Bull Air Race Chiba 2016," the third of eight races being held as part of "Red Bull Air Race World Championship 2016" and the second Red Bull Air Race to be held in Japan. In this race series, world-class air race pilots will fly specialized high-speed, highly maneuverable race planes at speeds of up to 370km/h through a low-altitude aerial race course demarcated by 25m-tall air-filled pylons (called air gates). This competition, which tests the pilots in terms of both speed and precision flying, is part of a world air race championship that is officially recognized by Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI - the World Air Sports Federation).
