Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd., makers of Dunlop Tires, are pleased to announce the July launch of our latest line of flagship tires-"SP SPORT MAXX 050+" and "SP SPORT MAXX 050+ for SUV," combining high handling stability with superior wet grip performance to meet the needs of the next generation of high-performance vehicles. Our new "SP SPORT MAXX 050+" line of tires will be available in 33 sizes for passenger cars and 13 sizes for SUVs at launch and will feature open pricing.
In addition, as part of our global product lineup, "SP SPORT MAXX 050+" and "SP SPORT MAXX 050+ for SUV" will also be released in China, Russia, the Middle East, Central and South America and other regions in the near future.
As our latest line of flagship tires, "SP SPORT MAXX 050+" incorporates numerous types of cutting-edge technology in order to achieve a high-level balance between handling stability and wet grip performance. These include specialized compounds designed with our proprietary "4D NANO DESIGN" new materials development technology, a new tread pattern and an advanced "High-Rigidity Structure" that reduces tread deformation. In addition, "SP SPORT MAXX 050+ for SUV" also incorporates a specialized structure optimized for luxury SUVs with high centers of gravity, reducing the wobble typical of SUVs running at high speeds to achieve exceptional handling stability.
