FALKEN Selected as an Official Partner of "Red Bull Air Race Chiba 2017"

Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. is pleased to announce our sponsorship, as an official partner through our FALKEN brand, of the upcoming "Red Bull Air Race Chiba 2017," which will be held over the June 3-4 weekend.
Sumitomo Rubber Industries is proud to once again be supporting "Red Bull Air Race Chiba 2017," the third of eight races being held as part of "Red Bull Air Race World Championship 2017" and the third Red Bull Air Race to be held in Japan.
In this race series, world-class air race pilots will fly specialized high-speed, highly maneuverable race planes at speeds of up to 370km/h through a low-altitude aerial race course demarcated by 25m-tall air-filled pylons (called air gates). This competition, which tests the pilots in terms of both speed and precision flying, is part of a world air race championship that is officially recognized by Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI - the World Air Sports Federation)
