Sumitomo Rubber to Sponsor "TOKYO CONNECTED LAB 2017" and Press Center at "The 45th Tokyo Motor Show 2017"

Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. (SRI) is pleased to announce that our DUNLOP and FALKEN tire brands will be among the official sponsors of TOKYO CONNECTED LAB 2017-the new signature event at "The 45th Tokyo Motor Show 2017," which will be held from Wednesday, October 25 through Sunday, November 5 at Tokyo Big Sight. In addition to this exciting organizer's special theme exhibition, we will also be supporting an on-site press center.

As the organizer's special theme exhibition for this year's Tokyo Motor Show, "TOKYO CONNECTED LAB 2017" will feature an extensive program of hands-on activities designed to give visitors a chance to experience the new forms of value and social ties that we can look forward to in the mobility society of the future. SRI has been a sponsor of the organizer's special theme exhibition each year since 2013. Starting this year, we are also pleased to support the management of an on-site press center that will provide a media-friendly environment in order to make it easier for members of the press to focus on their reporting activities.
Through our sponsorship efforts, we hope to give more visitors a chance to experience the advanced technologies of the future up close while at the same time helping to introduce the wonders of the Tokyo Motor Show to a larger audience around the world.
