DUNLOP e. SPORT MAXX Selected for Toyota Motor’s New LEXUS ES

DUNLOP (Company name: Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd.; President and CEO: Yasuaki Kuniyasu) is pleased to announce that we have started supplying DUNLOP e. SPORT MAXX for use as factory standard tires on the new LEXUS ES, which made its debut on June 11, 2026.
The all-new LEXUS ES is a forerunner in LEXUS’s next-generation electric vehicles that combine hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) with battery EV (BEV) technologies. With a spacious cabin that offers a premium experience, new design inspired by LEXUS LF-ZC as the next-generation BEV concept, and advanced electrification, it is a model that has achieved new levels of quietness and ride comfort.
The e. SPORT MAXX tires fitted to this model help reduce noise by optimizing tread patterns, while also reducing tire rolling resistance thanks to the adoption of new tread rubber compounds, thereby extending the vehicle’s driving range.
The tires have also achieved high levels of both cabin quietness and ride comfort, contributing to the premium cabin comfort expected of a LEXUS. It features “Nano Black,” our proprietary design technique that produce deeper shades of black, for sidewall logos, which improves the visibility of the logos while also giving the tires more luxurious design aesthetic.
