Management Approach

As a global company responsible for the environment, we will endeavor through all areas of our activities to achieve the sustainable development of society wherein human prosperity and the environment co-exist harmoniously.

In February 2021, Sumitomo Rubber Industries released its Carbon Neutrality Declaration, thereafter launching initiatives to reduce CO2 emissions from factory operations by 55% by 2030 and reduce such emissions to net zero by 2050.
